In this edition, four meat industry leaders have formed an AMIC steering committe to lobby for State Government support for quality bung fritz to be registered as a South Australian food icon. If successful, fritz could only be named fritz if it's made to set standards in South Australia, similar to how only sparkling wine made in Champagne can be called champagne.
